This is one heart-warming and tearful book that I read as it is a personal journey of how
a Cincinnati couple cope during the last month of their 6 years old daughter who had a critical brain cancer.
It documents how this couple tirelessly sacrifice their time and effort to look after her and their roller coaster ride, experiencing agony, frustration, hope and love, all entangled in one episode.
As parents to 2 young kids, we can empathise with this couple but only those who had underwent such tormenting experience can truly understand their feelings. It really strengthens me a lot , to put faith in God and to cherish every single minute I have with my children and not let the worldly affairs to corrupt me too much to forsake their growing up years.
This is a story of hope, love and resilience of the Desserich family and I am thankful for an opportunity to pick up this book , read it and realized how blessed we are in our current circumstances.
Their story will lives on in each and every one of us .....................
